Seems like we are moving inexorably to an authoritarian state. Citizens United gave the wealthy ruling class the opportunity to control electoral outcomes with their wallets. Republican and Democratic Parties control ballot access and insure only their candidates are able to stand for elections. The consolidation within the Media has given the MSM almost complete control to promulgate the "OFFICIALLY APPROVED NARRATIVE" to the vast majority of Americans. Any media not following this approved narrative becomes subject to censorship or banning, like what happened to Parler when they were de-platformd by Amazon, Trump was banned from Twitter, and Tim Tok may now be completely banned. And now, anyone challenging 'the narrative' can be called out as an anti-semite, a terrorist sympathizer, a violent extremist, even when protesting peacefully.
